Seriously...I love Etsy.

Here are a few of my latest Etsy loves!

Emerald Necklace
First, this necklace by SMVdesigns.  This necklace is SO me.  I just love the simplicity of it.  I found it on a blog called The Chloe Conspiracy.

Personalized Silhouette Print
How sweet would this be in a playroom??  LOVE IT!  Sarah + Abraham

This is a dry erase calendar!  You put the decal on the inside of a picture frame.  I got this for my kitchen a few months ago - one of the best purchases I've ever made!  Get it here at Say It With Style.

Stay tuned for more!!

Announcing....PERSONALIZED ITEMS!!!

I am so excited to announce that I will soon be carrying PERSONALIZED items!! YAY!

The only thing that was holding me back was that I didn't know how to applique!! And I was intimidated to try.

But with the help of this fantastic tutorial by Noodles & Milk, and advice from my pal Lisa over at Love Lucas Creations, I did it! This is my first personalized Lovey. I meant for it to be a blanket, but I didn't have quite enough fabric to make it the size I wanted. (This is approx 19" square). You get the gist though!

I will be happy to add an applique initial to bibs, burpies, ribbon blankets, and ribbon blocks!! $3 per letter. Due to the size of bibs, burpies, and blocks, I can only put 1 initial on them.

Baby Blanket - 18x22 - $30 (this includes 1 applique letter!)
$3 per additional letter.

I've been busy!!

A friend of mine found this adorable idea for hanging your kiddo's books. Or yours. Or whatever!

Here's the tutorial from Penny Carnival. What a fab idea!
Hanging Book Display Tutorial

A few friends of mine saw the book displays and asked me to make some for them!!

These are VERY easy to make. Trust me. If you aren't comfortable making them yourself, I'd be happy to do it for you. $5 per display, you pay for shipping and materials.

Can't wait to start this project for my girls!!!

I wish I could take credit for this adorable idea! I am so inspired to make this for Natalie and Ava. I haven't complete decided what I want to make. Natalie mentioned a school or cupcake shop. I think it will hard work and take me FOREVER - but maybe I can pull it off by Christmas?

It is supposed to be made to fit over a card table, but I'm thinking maybe I'll have my handy husband make a frame in PVC pipe.

Here are some inspiration pictures. Oh and can I just say, I'm obsessed with looking up the different types of goodies I can make out of felt!

http://homemadebyjill.blogspot.com/2009/10/felt-playhouse.html

Look at this adorable little playhouse! My favorite - the flowers! You can remove them and play with them!

I love this tree! How cute! I'm thinking it may be a little ambitious though...I love that the kids can "pick" the apples!

And look at this cute garden! How stinkin' cute! And the kids can pick their vegetables!!

If you could make a playhouse like this for your kiddo - what would you make?

Teddy Dinner...

Apparently this is Natalie's new favorite. And she tried to force me to eat it!

Some upcoming projects...

I've been so busy fulfilling custom orders (which isn't a bad thing!) that I haven't had a chance to work on some cute projects! But just because I haven't had a chance to work on them, doesn't mean I'm not thinking about them. :-)

Here's a preview of what will come (I hope...):

How stinkin' CUTE are these activity bags? This bag is designed by Melissa Stramel of Lilac Lane.

Ahhh! Love, love, love, LOVE this! I think this is next on my list. What a great coupon clutch!

Dreaming of new spaces...

I'm totally stealing the idea for this post from the blog, Noodles & Milk.

We'll be moving into our new home in October - we hope! And I've been trying to decide what to do about making a craft room for myself. I'm so excited! I'll be sharing the space with either my husband's office, the guest room, or the kids playroom. So, I'll need it to be organized and...small. Here are a few pictures that I hope will inspire my new creative space!

Love how cute this room is. BUT I doubt I could live with a pink room - as pretty as this room is. I like how the shelves are used to store the fabric.

Love the organization on the wall!

I love how simple this space is - nothing fancy, just the basics. And small!!

What a fun room! I love the color!! I specifically love the table - what a great idea for a large cutting table.

LOVE.THIS.SPACE. Simple, clean, minimal. Love. It.

Cute idea from The Container Store. An idea like this might be great if I decide to share my room with the kids play area. Don't know how long I could sit in a room that orange though...love the organization!!

LOVE this table. I would love to find something like this!!

I would love to see pictures of your favorite sewing or crafty spaces! :-)

So excited to debut a new item!!!

FINALLY! I have had this project in the works for over a month, but life and custom orders have had me so busy, I didn't have time to work on them. Introducing - Ribbon Blocks!

Baby will be safely entertained when playing with these soft ribbon blocks. They have looped ribbon to attach easily to carriages, car seats, high chairs, or strollers. Each facet of the blocks feature lots of tags, colors, and tactile elements.

WHY BLACK & WHITE?
Newborns can see from birth, just not as clearly as an older child or adult. Until your child is about six months of age, he will respond best to bold, contrasting colors and graphics. That’s why it’s important to provide your baby with toys that feature the visual extremes of black, white and red. These high-contrast colors will captivate and hold baby’s attention, encouraging visual development as well as physical activity – like wiggling, kicking, and arm waving.

Ribbon Blocks are $9 each. Matching Ribbon Blankets are available as well - get a matching set for $20. A great gift for a new baby!

And of course - no new item debut would be complete without an opportunity to WIN said new item, right??? Soooo...stay tuned for the contest announcement! :-)

Nursing Covers

Here are a few nursing covers I just finished. I will be dropping them off at a local breastfeeding and maternity boutique in Lancaster, NY called Baby's Sweet Beginnings. Not the best pictures, but I haven't figured out a good place to take pictures of the nursing covers yet!
